Described as “Hellboy in Lederhosen” and “Marvel Comics doing the Brothers Grimm”, the comic book series ARGSTEIN was created by writer Josef Rother and artist Eckart Breitschuh, taking their inspiration from the very legends of German folklore.
Our star is the rugged Förster (pronounced “Firster”), a two-fisted, rifle-toting sheriff of the forest who protects the human denizens of the Argstein valley from the numerous uncanny creatures that haunt the woods.
