Josef Rother

For several years now, German scribe Josef Rother has been a regular contributor of horror stories to Kevin Eastman's Heavy Metal Magazine and has collaborated with such international stars as David (V for Vendetta) Lloyd.
Josef penned scripts for the German edition of Mad Magazine and created the controversial Father Dracula series that presents the exploits of a certain vampire lord after his conversion to Catholiscm. These days the old bloodsucker only drinks the communion wine, the transubstantiated Blood of Christ, thus nourishing to vampires as well, and together with Reverend Van Helsing, he has battled such menaces as Saint Frankenstein, The Relic That Walks Like A Man.
Apart from writing comics, Josef has translated Star Wars, Star Trek and Stargate magazines into the German tongue, as well as loads of comics, including the adventures of the Flash, Superman, Batman and many other DC superheroes. Josef also put German words into the mouth of Alan Moore's Swamp Thing.
